Hello, so I finally decided to upgrade my graphics card from my old 560ti to GTX 1070 (this one, to be specific http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5916#kf ), but after I connected it to the PSU and the motherboard (checked multiple times if it's connected properly), I started up the PC, but my monitor didn't light up, as if it wasn't connected to anything. I tried swapping cables (it has a VGA and a HDMI slot, tried both), yet nothing changed. So I tried connecting my monitor to the motherboard's integrated graphics instead and checked the BIOS if the card is being recognized and it isn't. Also checked Device manager and it's not listed there either.
My motherboard is the ASrock z77 extreme 4.
The fans are spinning and everything seems to be connected properly, I have a 600W PSU, which should be more than sufficient (my old 560ti worked with it just fine and apparently it consumes more power than the 1070).
The PCI slots are not faulty, both of them worked with the 560ti.
I tried uninstalling previous graphics card drivers - both the 560ti's and the integrated card's one (using the Guru3d utility).

Is there anything else I can do, or is the card faulty and I should just return it? I'm really getting desperate and annoyed at this point.
Thank you for any advice you can provide.

Yeah, like 5 times at least, tried both PCIe slots.

Then I would say maybe DOA (Dead on Arrival) call the place you bought it for and try to return it.

Tried resetting CMOS, which is the last thing that I thought might help, but it didn't. So I'll try to return it and see if the replacement works.

Tried that today, but the BIOS is already running on the newest version. Updated it anyway, but it made no difference.

Nope, I built it years ago myself, part by part.
