My new gtx 980 does not reach the clock speed it should :(

So recently i just got my Asus geforce 980 turbo 4GB and it does seem like something is wrong with it. Just tried benchmarking and it looks like the clock speed only goes up to 1037 when it should be at about ~1200. When i lookd into asus gpu tweak 2 it showed me that neither gpu nor the vcore was reaching the numbers it should. To make sure it was not the software showing the wrong numbers i went into gpuz to make sure and it told me the same thing.

Im really not sure what is going and some help would really mean a lot!

My suggestion would be to return to the merchant as defective (if in 30 days), and buy a 1070 with the refund. If not, RMA
