my new HD sata isnt listed under my computer

im soooooo frustrated my old HD broke down.. I went to Best buy got a new one. plugged it in and now its not listed anywhere. Help plz

Did you format it so it has a valaid file system ?
Does it appear in Bios (F2 Setup)
Does it show in Disk Management ?
