My new laptop doesnt recognize hammer hard drive

my new laptop doesn't recognize my hammer hard drive.

Are you sure the power brick is working?
did you turn on the power switch?
Does it work on someone elses pc?

Please list the make and model# of your pc and the hammer drive if you didnt get it going.
