My new laptop keyboard doesn\'t type.

The battery died when I was typing. When I got it plugged in and it came back up my keyboard would not work. What should I do?

Are there hot keys or short cut keys that could have been pressed as the power went out that could cause this problem?

Do that again with the battery REMOVED AND NO CHARGER CONNECTED...

Wow this really worked. Thank you very much. My granddaugher will be very happy. HP didn't even have a fix other than replacing the keyboard. Maybe they better start using this forum.
