I have just bought a MX300 Crucial M.2 SSD, I put it in my Z-97C Motherboard.

When I go into the BIOS, I see that the drive is recognized as a storage in the Boot Order and the PCH Storage Configuration, but when I go into Windows, I can't see the drive and can't clone it from my existing boot SSD.

Can someone also explain how to make Windows boot from it if eventually I can clone the drive?

Normally to setup a new drive you go into "Disk Management" to see and format the drive.

Most cloning software should see the drive though without formatting it. Once you CLONE to the drive, you would then go into your BIOS to change the boot order to the M.2 SSD (see motherboard manual or just figure it out).
