My New PC Build Keeps Crashing randomly

I have a new pc build that has some older components in them and randomly as I am playing CS:GO or even just leaving the PC on the sign in screen, the PC will just randomly freeze then crash, can someone please try to help me fix because I can't even play a whole game of CS:GO.

My PC Specs:

Motherboard: gigabyte ga-g41mt-s2p
GPU: Core 2 Quad Q9650
CPU: EVGA GTX 650ti Superclocked Boost
Power Supply: Unbranded 500 watt
RAM: 8gb Samsung
SSD: Crucial 250gb Internal SSD

If it is not an 80+ certified PSU can that cause the problem

80+ may not be the issue but bronze is the least you should get. It could be simply psu not producing enough.

I just bought a new psu and my pc is still crashing, WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!!!!!!

reinstall OS first is my suggestion and download all drivers from motherboard website and install, install gpu driver too.

I just did that but I have a funny feeling it is the CPU because it is a quad core with 2 cores and 2 threads but I think it is supposed to have 4 cores and 4 threads and it also has a green mark on the metal plate of the CPU.

can you try hwinfo to check your cpu model?
