i bought an i3 9100f + biostar h310mhp to upgrade my current pc. after replacing my motherboard and cpu my pc wont boot up (my keyboard are not lighting up so i guess its not the graphics card's problem?). not even booting to bios. the fans and lights are working, and i believe that my graphics card is properly installed. whats seems to be the problem? pls help.

1. H310 supports both 8th and 9th gen CPU but most likely motherboard needs bios update first and it will require 8th gen CPU. Once update is done, then it will work with 9th gen CPU. You should bought H370 or B365

2. i3 9100f has no integrated GPU so you will need a dedicated graphic card to display to monitor. You need to fix step 1 first.

If you can, return both and go with intel 10th gen CPU (it needs motherboard socket 1200). Intel 10th gen CPU is supposed to be cheaper and better than 9th gen CPU. The other option is go with Ryzen.

Update:
Not sure what version Biostar h310mhp that you have. According to Biostar website, version 7.X should work with i3 9100f. If you have older version, then may be not or their website is wrong. Biostar did not show any older version than 7.X

I think they make a mistake on their website, all 9th gen CPU show bios update is required but they miss i3 9100f. You should return H310 and get B365 (H370 will not support out of the box according to Phaaze88)
