My new rig wont turn on

I am new to pcs and when i try to connect it to my monitor it doesnt show anything
Specs
Asus prime Z270-A
16gb ram ddr 4 2400 ghz corsair
I7-7700K
Msi gtx 1080ti
Case: corsair 750D
250gb ssd samsung
3tb hdd baracuda
And a cooler corsair h100i v2

Did you build it yourself or buy it already assembled?

Also what do you mean by "Won't turn on"? Is there power to the computer and fans are spinning but no display? Or no power when you hit the button on the case?
