I got it today and it is not being detected by the computer, I tried updating the drivers, updating the BIOS and uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. Does anyone have any idea as to how to fix this?

Did you connect the PCi4x16 to the graphics cards? there's a cable coming from power supply that you must connect to gpu. that has two rows of pins making up to 16.

It has 685 watts but I think that the issue is that I only have 2 6 pin plugs instead of the needed 2 8 pins
Then it's certainly a fake 685W supply, as is usual with cheap, garbagey PSUs.

If you can't tell us the brand and model, you at least need to take pictures of the information on the PSU. Nobody can give you a good answer to a question that absolutely requires the exact information you're not telling us.

look there are 6 and 8 pins here. this is photo from AMD website. your model may look different, but connectors must be same. you must have cables from your psu to fit into all of these.

I think you were able to power your rx580 with it, so the cables must be there.

you must have enough cables to fill all of these you see at the bottom of the card. I think you have them, cause wasn't your rx580 like this?

@Bub Bub if you were powering rx580, you must be able to power rx5700 (I'm open to disagreement, may be I'm wrong)

the picture I posted above turns 6 into 8. and what you need is not 2 8 pins, you need a 6 and a 8 (which I think you already have, because it's weird then how you were using rx580 before)
