I just got my new sm951 and i´m trying to use as c drive on my ASUS z97 pro gamer but it doesn´t recognize it just me? please help me!!

Solution
In BIOS I don't see it. But I use Windows 8.1 and 10 with 64 bit version that sees it when installing. First make a USB WITH WINDOWS using Rufus 2.4 or 2,6 version an choose Cpt UEFI compatible, then umplug all other hdd from motherboard. only 64 bit version of Windows support UEFI BOOT that recognize m.2 hdd
Make sure you have the latest BIOS update from ASUS. Then make sure you're booting to uEFI (not legacy), then boot to the Windows install disc/USB key (in uEFI mode) and install Windows 8.1 or newer (10 is fine) on your SM951. ASUS claims your board supports booting for uEFI, provided you have the required BIOS update, so it should work.

Look what i found that resolve my problem. I have Asrock 970 performance with M.2 pcie 2.0 x4 soket and samsung 951 M.2 is pcie 3.0 x4
In bios the hdd drive is not recognized. When i install windows 8.1 it is recognized by the windows and it works fasssst.

to work i think (in my case is valid)
1. all components must be UEFI compatible. Motherboard, vga card
2. i fallow the steps indicated on this site: http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/15458-uefi-bootable-usb-flash-drive-create-windows.html

P.S. i don`t know if is good to give a link from another forum bud if it helps someone why not.

Well my sm951 doesn´t come up at my bios or on my windows10 installation. I just updated my bios. Do you think that it will work when I bought the adapter for m.2 to pci?
