recently i am unable to open my disc drive on my new Sony LAPTOP i have tried putting a pin in the little hole but to no avail but i did have a disc in there and when i check on computer it says there is nothing in there so basically how can i get it out
extra info
around 4 weeks old had a Norton internet security disc inside, 15.5 inch screen
model is PCG-71911M
also it is a nosy but i didn't have it on sub category

Sounds off hand as though the disk did not get locked down onto the center clip of the optical drive. That will make opening very tricky. I can only suggest tilting the laptop in different directions to see if you can get the "front" of the disc below the optical drive lip - the disk will probably be ruined during the extraction process but hopefully the optical drive will live through it. It may be that you'll have to replace the optical drive if you can't remove the disk.
Suspected lesson here: Ensure optical disc is fully seated on (snapped into) the center clip before closing drawer.
Note: everyone has probably done that at least once... how do you think I know the disk probably won't survive?

i will try this but i am wondering, if i open my laptop up (screws and stuff) will it take of its guarantee? because i am currently living in china and i got my sister to bring it over from England.and if it does where could i proably get it fixed and still have its

I don't believe it voids the warranty in itself since there are no "do not break seal" stickers but I am not absolutely sure of that. You may also have to replace the optical drive with an identical one to maintain warranty. Depending on where you are located in China, I would suspect (yankee stereotyping?) there may be some tech shops nearby that can help.
Your manual should explain warranty info (may need to call Sony) - I could not find that model number in Sony support.
