ok guys im new here so I'll start with hello
Now down to bussiness, I know I need a new power supply (I currently have a Q-Tec 500W) in order to run a AMD X2 3800+ with a 7800GT. The rest of my system is as follows:
WD Rapter SATA
WD Cavier Raid Edition 300GB SATA
1GB Kingston 400FSB
3 optical drives
Sound Blaster ZS 2
(Have I missed something?)
I have just bought another Q-Tec its a 650W Tripple Fan 24P and all I here is that the output is just not there but nothing is really clear, people are more conserned about the noise than the power. Noise is something I don't care about thats what I have speakers for
Now I want to know if you guys can say definitly that this power supply unit wont run what I got with what im getting cus people im asking are saying that I could probably run a shower on that sort of power but all I tend to here about them is that there useless. I don't want to burn my system any help would be appreciated but I would prefer to know if the 650 I have will do it rather than it will sound like a tornado.
Cheers guys
