My new vaio laptop wont turn on

i recieved a new vaio for christmas, i been using it for about a month and it wont turn on
even though the charger is in and it says its charging.
The num lock and caps lock comes up as green but screen is not working.
last thing i played on it is minecraft if that helps
please i need some help

Did you try connecting it to an external monitor?
Is the hard drive light working? and/or blinking like it is working?
Do you have anything plugged into it like a USB drive? If so disconnect and see if it works?

Hi

DO this....

REMOVE the battery and then PRESS AND HOLD the power button down for one minute...

Then put battery back in and try again....

If that didnt work return it under warranty...
