So a couple of days ago a friend gave me his old pc parts. i am trying to make a gaming pc out of it.the parts are....
i5 3500k
gtx 650
h61m-hvs
and an atx
So i ordered an Apevia Java 650W Black Power Supply and bought ram and it put the whole computer together. Once i tried to turn it on nothing happened(no fans were on and no other light turned on) except that the light around the power button turned on. i later realized that the ram i bought isnt compatible with the motherboard but even if it not wouldnt the fans and stuff like that turn on ,? do i need to buy a new motherboard or PSu or was the fans not suppose to turn on because of the ram?( sorry if this badly worded im just to lazy to make it sound right :pt1cable: ) Thanks

Solution
First Check The Ram Try Removing It If Mother Board Beeps Consionously than it is Ram Fault. if Dosen't Then Try Another SMPS. Often It May Be Problem Due to Uneven Voltage. If This Dosen't Work Than Maybe your Mother Board Have Problem.

Solution

when i removed the ram the motherboard didnt beep , but i think thats because the motherboard didnt come with a speaker .(if thats possible)

Try Putting a External Speaker
If you have multiple ram than try using the other one
