My newly built PC overheated and shut down.

My newly built PC overheated and shut down, I turned it back on after letting it cool down,and moved it near a cool breeze. After it had cooled down completely, I turned it back on. After about 30 minutes of gaming, it shut down again. After letting it cool for a second time, I tried to turn it back on. It will not respond to anything I do now. All the internals are completely cooled now, but it still seems like there is no power going to the components.

Specs:

GPU: EVGA GTX 560

CPU: AMD FX-6100 ( Stock Cooling fan, could be the problem?)

PSU: Coolmax 500w

RAM: 8 gb of G Skill Ripjaw ddr3-1600

MoBo: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200rpm

Check to make sure cpu cooler is seated correctly.

PSU's fault. You got a very poor PSU.
