I have just built my Pc and I had been playing games for about 2 weeks but last night while playing battlefront it just randomly shut off and wont turn back on.

I have unplugged everything and replugged it but that did nothing but turn it on for split-seconds at a time and the lights on the motherboard still remain on and working perfectly fine.

Specs
ASUS tuf x570 with wifi motherboard
ryzen 5 3600 CPU
Radeon rx 580-gigabyte GPU
corsair 650w PSU CX650M 80PLUS BRONZE
Samsung 970 Evo plus SSD m.2
Seagate 2 TB hard drive
CPU cooler is Coolermaster hyper 212

Solution
You said that when you turn it back on, the motherboard lights come on. Do the fans spin up? A couple of things I do when something like that happens:

  • unplug the pc from the wall power socket. While unplugged, press the power button a couple of times to flush any residual power going the motherboard.
  • reset the bios using the jumper (or touching metal to the cmos reset if no jumper) AND remove the button battery from the motherboard.
-(I also unplug all USB stuff except mouse and keyboard)
  • wait 5 minutes
  • put the battery back in, plug the PC to the power
  • press power button

Let me know what happens
