My Newly Built PC won't let me use my mic.

I just recently built my pc, and I'm extremely happy with it. However, Using my Razer Kraken 7.1, I can only hear stuff in CSGO. I can't press my set buttons, and have my mic start working. I later tried this on using skype, and the person I was talking to wouldn't hear me. I don't think it's a microphone problem of my headphones as It works on my mac, but my monitor's settings (VG248QE) need to be changed.

Does your headset have Mac or iPhone plug connector ?
or the PC type with earphone and microphone plugs?

Not all case or motherboards support Apple plugs

Many screens have speakers a few also have microphones what about yours?

It only has one plug, I don't know if it's mac or iphone... Mine comes with speakers, I know that. I also have the corsair 750d

I think you have a apple plug with 3 segments on it for left right and mic

This may well not work on PC's
So you need a seperate PC mic
