Question My old build hates some new games. Help

Asus rampage 4 black
I7 4930k
Lots of ram [forgot how much]
Lots of power [forgot how much but over 850]
Gtx 1080 ti ftw3


The old build hated battlefield 2042 beta as much as I did. It also isn't liking New World. Especially pvp. My fps dips into the 20's. Where should I start? Nothing is getting hot btw. I haven't tried overclocking.....yet
