As the title states, my old graphics card died and i need a new one.
Here are my current specs.
  • i5-6500
    Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3P
    16GB DDR4 2400 RAM
    2TB HDD
    250GB SSD
    MSI R9 380 4GB
    EVGA 650 W 80+ Gold PSU
I'm hoping to spend 300 tops but will gladly go lower. I'm looking to only run games on high. Ultra isn't necessary for me. I play games like gta V, the crew 2, the division 2, and destiny 2.
Thank you for your time.

Solution
You can definately use the vega 56 and not flash it. They offer great performance and often have sales.

Currently newegg has a gigabyte vega 56 for $279 but that has so many 1 star reviews its overall rating is 2 stars.

Heres a Sapphire Pulse Vega 56 8gb for $309...

This has 4.5 star reviews overall and sapphire is one of the best in the business

Flashing basically turns your vega 56 into a faster vega 64. I have turned my rx480 into a 580 and its a tedious process. Flashing the 56 to 64 increases performance, but also increase temperatures and power draw. It also has a chance to brick your card.
