I'm having some troubles with my nvidea card overheating, so I thought "I'll just change to my onboard card while I can't get a new card" but...
The device manager nor the BIOS show my onboard card... on bios, under 'advanced>Main Graphic Adapter' it only shows 2 options -PCI-E x1 / PCI-E x16-, it doesnt show anything else, so...
How do I get it to show my onboard card?

Solution
Hi,

Look behind the computer to see if you have vga / dvi adaptor. If not, you don't have a integrated card.

If you do, get the GPU out and just try to boot from there. BIOS should initialize the onboard one unless it is disable.

+1 please give us full spec of you computer.

You're going to have to provide us with some system specs

Can you get a display ? If so then go to Device manager then Display Adapter, Right click on the card you disabled, then enable it.

Or take out the CMOS battery for 1 min, then put it back, it will clear the settings, now you have the chance to enable the on-board video in BIOS or Device Manager.
