My Passport Ultra

I have been using this for a while now and moved it over to my other computer. It acts as if it is ok, light is on, but can't find it on the monitor. It shows up in device manager, and computer management on disk 2, F, healthy, primary partition. But nothing to click on to use it. Also says drive is update. thanks

In disk management, do you have the option to "initialize"?

If so, select that. If you're prompted to format first (not sure if you will be), then don't.....at least not if there's anything on it you can't afford to lose.

I see now that there is only 1 mb on unallocated space. I guess that is the problem now. it shows capacity as 953837 mb and shows my volume as one less mb. thanks for responding

After opening some of the files all of a sudden a box pops up on the screen which is what I was looking for and couldn't find it so everything is all right now thanks for responding
