My passport WD usb WARNING: Formatting will erase ALL data on this disk

Hello,
I just plugged in my WD 'My Passport" hardrive, and when i clicked onto my 'music' folder and it says "You need to format disk in Drive: E before use". Then when i hit okay to that, it says "WARNING: Formatting will erase ALL files on thies disk". All my other documents, tv shows, movies etc are working fine, just not music. Help!

Try copying the music files to a different hard drive and see whether they (music) work.
