my pc came downgraded from factory, how do i get it back to a later version

my pc came downgraded from win 8.1 pro to win 7 pro, how do i get it back to win 8.1 pro?

Contact who you bought it from. If you bought it under the terms that it came with 8.1, then they screwed up.

Usually there is a key on a sticker on the tower or laptop. Just a warning, many of the pcs that have the non pro version of windows "stock". Otherwise call the vendor or upgrade to 10.

Thanks for your quick response. The PC came with downgrade right and some recovery CDs. I just need the steps to go around it

There is no key on the sticker, i guess should be somewhere embedded. But there are recovery CDs.
