Hello, Ive been struggling with this problem for months, still looking for solution. I tried all possible solutions still didn't work. Everytime I install AMD Driver for my VTX3D R9 280x the screen goes black. But on my Device Manager reads it as AMD Radeon R9 200 Series. Also on Radeon Settings, I installed the AMD Driver but it doesnt read the R9 280x. The GPU is 2nd hand, However when I bought it the original owner of it is using the card before I bought it. Now, My old motherboard broke, IDK why, ( i7-2600k CPU ) now it was upgraded into i7-6700 and H110M-K, Heck I did even upgrade my PSU ( Seasonic M12II 620w 80+ Bronze ) just to see which is the problem. After buying the card I tried it on my old pc and the pc wont boot i think its because i dont have the cable for it ( 6pin and 8pin ) I bought the cable for them, Then I bought my new PSU ( as i told above ) then tried it, Still dont work. Anyone can help?
