Question My PC can't run minecraft well

I have an AMD FX-8320E and a GTX 1060 card. When I run Minecraft with shaders I get 30-40 FPS. Now I do realize that I am running shaders but my pc should be able to handle shaders and get 100+. I would also like to stress the fact that even without shaders I get 70-100 FPS when I play vanilla no shaders fast settings. For a really long time I assumed that the reason for this is because of a possible bottleneck

temps are normal across the board. idle at 30-35C. Under load at around 40-65

i think my cpu is overclocked dont remember how much and my psu is a 500 wt evga model

I’m gonna blame it on the bottleneck the cpu is ten years old compared to the 1060

What's your render distance? I would recommend not going higher than 8 chunks
