My pc doesn't download at full speed

So my pc never uses the full bandwith anymore when downloading. It usually stays at around 10-13.5MB/s even though we have 62.5MB/s.

When I'm running the speedtest by ookla, it maxes out at around 500-505Mb/s (62.5MB/s). Altough the last time since i had these speeds when download something were years ago, and now it has been constantly declining until these speeds. Anyone know why?

Are you hardwired or using wifi? How fast is the adapter you are using rated up to?

If your drivers for LAN/Wifi are updated on your devices then this might be a question better asked to your Internet provider.

I'm using cable, and i think my adapter is rated to 1Gb/s. And my LAN drivers are updated.
