My pc doesn't recognize my 2 monitor(TV)

So just a few days ago i was playing some games casually on my pc and it was storming outside and suddenly both of my monitors turned off but only my main monitor turned on instantly while my TV lost signal..I checked my hdmi cable and it works just fine with my xbox and tv.. i even bought a dvi to hdmi cable thinking the problem is in the hdmi port but it still didn't work..Any help here?

Try connecting your PC to a different input on your TV, one that you have verified works with other devices. If that doesn't work, try using the video output of your graphics card that you know is still working.

It's possible that your equipment suffered damage.

I plugged in my monitors vga cable in the tv and it worked..
should i get a vga to hdmi adapter?I don't want to spend money on more cables

If your old connections stopped working, but you have found some new ones that do, go with that.

There are no passive VGA to HDMI adapters, as VGA is analog, HDMI digital, and you must use an active conversion to go from one to the other.
