Hey guys, I bought my pc late august this year. My pc is decent , but it doesn't run games as it should. GTA V lags after 2 minutes of playing on LOW settings, fps drops from 60 to 20. Mafia III doesn't run well also (on Low settings) but i'm not suprised because even gtx1080 can't run it pretty well (at least as I heard). I get like 150-200 fps playing CS:GO on low settings but even then it sometimes freezes for 3 seconds.

So further ado here is my pc settings:

GTX 1060 6GB
i5-6500
8GB Ram 2133mhz
H110M PRO-VD PLUS motherboard

Any tips guys? help would certainly be appreciated

Thank you.

Sounds like a bad or failing hard drive. Your system is more than enough to expect better performance. If it's not a 7200 RPM drive or has a low cache you may find issues.

Honestly, a new SSD for the OS and then a new 7200 RPM WD blue or WD black and you'll probably see much better performance. Worst case, you have extra storage and a faster boot drive.

It is installed on my Toshiba HDD (TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 (1TB / 7200 RPM / 32MB))

I bet its the Hard drive too. The 100% usage on HD is a bit suspicious to me; depends on how long it is. Best is you do a fresh install Windows on a SSD and all programs. And install all games to a Hard drive, if you get a small SSD.

Or if 250 GB is enough for you and you don't want work with different hard drives, then get single SSD for same price as above

Thanks for help! Yeah I think it's probably HDD , because CPU/Motherboard/GPU are fine, RAM are also (tried to do this: https://www.cnet.com/how-to/test-your-ram-with-windows-memory-diagnostic-tool/ and it didn't said that it had any errors)
