Question My PC doesn't want to boot after upgrading CPU from i7 2600 to i5-3570 ?

Hi. I have:

Gigabyte B75-D3V (REV 1.2)
i7-2600 - upgraded to i5-3470
16gb ram ddr3
asus stirx GTX 960 2GB

my pc doesn't want to boot from the 3470, but he is booting from i7 2600. can someone help? i tried reflash the bios but nothing.

it works only on gigabyte H61MA-D2V.

I tend to agree with the above. If your hardware supports, the only upgrade to 3rd gen that makes sense is the 3770 and it's so marginally faster as to not really be worth it. Is there some instruction set or feature you are doing this for? I am not that nuanced in the differences, but can recall the i7 2600 being legendary for a long time, and it still holds up.

I found the problem. I bent some pins on the motherboard and it doesn't support third gen, only second gen.
