I've posted this question already, but something weird happened to it and it got merged with another one of my questions, so I guess this is a repost. The PC hangs on a screen before the game itself loads up, I can't do anything with the PC and the audio is frozen as well. The only way I can recover from this is if I turn off the power supply switch then boot the PC all over again.
I've tried moving the games to another drive, no luck. But these games have worked on my PC before.
My specs are:
Ryzen 5 3600
MSI B450M PRO VDH PLUS
Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHZ
MSI Radeon RX 5700 Gaming X
Silverstone 550W ET550B

It is not necessarily correct that all games would have problems. There are many differences between games and even between game versions impacting the processing power (CPU/GPU) necessary for play.

Much the same for RAM and disk activities. All demanding power.

Could be a very small threshold: all okay, "1 watt" more and freeze ups happen.

Very likely that one of the other games that currently does not have issues will be modified or upgraded and then that game will also start having issues.

And remember that you have other apps and hardware demanding power. Any changes there are likely to...
Windows 10?

Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer.

Any error codes or warnings that correspond with the time of the freezes?

You will probably see some improper shutdown errors due to the need to use the power off switch recover.

So pay careful attention to error codes and warnings that precede those errors.

I've attached links to pictures of errors. I don't see anything for Borderlands 3, but I see a bunch of errors for CSGO. There are no warnings or error codes before the freezes. And there are improper shutdowns afterward. They all say APPCRASH.
