My PC Gateway wont restore please help,

When I try to restore my gate way it dose not restore it pups up and message saying the partion is missing or someting like that it wont even boot. SX2885-UR10 thats my model. Please help! Its a desktop

See if there is a drive check option in the BIOS. If not, make a Hiren's boot CD and boot off that, run the disk utility there and do a scan of the hard drive. Also check to make sure the drive is seated properly.
