My PC gets a checkerboard pattern then a white screen. What's wrong?

Hello my PC is running into an issue where it gets a weird checkerboard pattern on the display but only while watching YouTube. I just got off a 4ish hour gaming session with no issues but 2mins into a YouTube video it happened. Its not the first time it happened and its quite annoying because I usually have to hard resets it because when the white screen happens it also frezes my sytem. I'mf anyone has any clues on how to fix, please help. Thanks!

San disk ssd.

are you using the iGPU? Or do you have a graphics card?

If you run a youtube video in another browser, does it still happen?

Try to right click on the youtube video and turn on or off accelerated processing.

You may also want to update Flash to its current version.

try running DDU in safe mode and then reinstalling your driver.

Well I'm dumb. I just had to update my gpu driver. Hahaha
