my pc has insanely bad connection

For a while now my custom built pc has had VERY slow internet connection. online games are virtually unplayable (unless you like upwards of 300 ping) and my download speed fluctuates from 1mbps to 30 kbs. i have the same wifi adapter as my friend and his is fine i also know its not my internet as my xbox one gets about 20 - 30 ping and much quicker download speed its been a massive issue for a while now and i have had to stick with playing single player games such as skyrim. its incredibly annoying and i would really appreciate any help

If you have the same adapter as a friend you should try his out and see what the results are. Maybe your's is on it's last legs.

yep if that is the only device in your house that has slow internet then it has something to do with your computer. the best place to start is your wifi adapter
