Question My pc has power but won't turn on

I bought a psu a while ago as an upgrade but never installed it till now, very stupid mistake for not testing it out right away since now i can't return it without knowing if it was dead on arrival. But the thing is it's not dead at least i don't think it is. When i switch on the power button on the psu a light from the mb turns on. The computer just doesn't turn on when i press the power button from the case. I'm sure all the pins are plugged in correctly and i never removed any other pins other than the psu ones after upgrading.

You probably just missed a connector then. If anything lights up at all, then the PSU is running fine. Double-check those wires my man.

I couldn't find where the issue was but after double checking like you said unplugging and plugging back in and removing unneeded connectors from my psu it finally turned on again. Thanks for the response.

I hooked up new Intel i5cpu and a new corsair psu to a used Asus TUF z270 mb. MB lights up but won't turn on. 8gigs memory
