my pc is acting odd.

I'm not actually expecting an absolute answer for this, and the most i can get are opinions. i'm at lost at how to diagnose it.

first off, this is my build:
cpu: intel i7 5820k
mobo: msi x99s sli plus
ram: g skill ripjaws 4 ddr4 2400
gpu: palit gtx 760 jetstream
sound card asus xonar dgx
cooler: deepcool maelstrom 120 hybrid
hdd: 2tb wdc blue
1 dvd optical drive
mouse: logitech g600
keyboard: corsair k70

the build is not OC'd yet (have to upgrade cooler)
OS is windows 8.1

The PCP was running everyday no problem at the span of 8 months until,

my pc wont start at night but would start in morning which i find quite odd.
if i boot it up at night after work, the mobo flashes the dreaded red led beside 24 pin power connection. fans will just start 1 sec and they'll all stop. i have tried re-seating everything except the processor, but the problem persists (i tried re-seating ram one by one too). it made me depressed so i just slept it off leaving the power supply on thus leaving the red led lighted in the mobo. then on the morning i tried to turn on the PC and it worked. this happens every night in one week up to this day.

what do you think is happening here?

PSU?

Download HWInfo and run Sensors. Game for 20mins. ost the Sensors results - usually 3 screenshots in Gyazo or similar. To see voltages, clocks, temps, etc.

if the PC won't start properly then you can boil the problem down to either the power supply or the motherboard.
