Question my pc is running like a potato in easy to run games and i don't know what the cause is

i have recently just upgraded my mobo, cpu, ram, and cooler, and after i swapped out my old parts for my new ones my games would run and while im mid game, textures would start flying across the map and eventually my game would just lock at 4fp for the rest of the game until i restart it and my ping also jumps to like 300ms (i also have an ethernet cable plugged in)
and also my memory is supposed to be around 3200 but it is locked at 2133 and i dont know why.


system specs:
mobo: gigabyte z390 m gaming Matx
cpu: i7-8700k @3.70ghz currently at 4.3ghz
ram: g. skill ripjaw 16gb 2x8 @ 3200 mhz
cooler: coolermaster masterliquid ml240L rgb

can someone help?

A couple of important things - did you do a clean install of Windows after upgrading your parts and have you updated your BIOS & motherboard drivers?
