[SOLVED] My pc is shutting down when playing modern warfare

So I play a lot of call of duty modern warfare and my pc isn't bad at all here are my specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
12gb ram
psu: it's an antec Truepower Quattro 850W
It says it shut off because: "power supply surges detected during previous power on"

What does this mean and what can i do to fix this

That's almost 15 years old PSU, why the hell you're still using it ?

If this is a 15 years old PSU it is your issue. Change it before it explode and bring the entire system with it

Yes, quality is important and you should also consider the warranty period. A good psu's warranty will cover the whole system in the event the psu fails and causes damage.

I have another pc i don't use anymore, can i take the psu from that one and put it into this one?

It's barely better but it should fix that problem probably. Get a new PSU ASAP tho, you have a pretty high-end GPU there, don't skimp on PSU.

Generally smth like Corsair CX450\550, be quiet! Pure Power 10\11 400W+, Cooler Master MWE Gold, maybe Antec Neo Eco Zen Gold or Seasonic Core. Where are you buying from ?

The Seasonic power supplies are one of the best out there and they have awesome quality and warranty. I recommend a Seasonic focus 650watt gold psu. This will allow for room to upgrade later down the line.

bq! SP9 400W - cheapest i can recommend
bq! PP11 400W - reasonably decent but cheap stuff
Seasonic Core GM 500W - relatively better than last one
Seasonic Focus GX 550W - practically top tier stuff
Corsair RMx - same but a bit quieter than previous one
