My pc starts up pretty quickly, however, when i then go to play a game or even open a google chrome tab 5-10 min after my pc has been on, it is slow and glitchy. When i launch a game and play a round or match, its choppy and glitchy. However, after i play a round/ match of a game or even during that game, my pc goes back to normal and i can play fine. I was just wondering if this can be fixed and why this is happening. (my pc is only a year old btw). It is not unbearbale, it is just annoying and i would like to get to the bottom of this.
Thanks!

P.S.- i am not very well-versed in techical computer terms so keep that in mind while responding :)

I have some things enabled under "Startup", however i dont know what is safe to disable. Here is a list of all the enabled tasks:

DellMobileConnectWelcome
Logitech Download Assistant
Microsoft OneDrive
Realtek HD Audio Manager
Waves MaxxAudio Service
Windows Security notifications
Delayed launcher
HD Audio Background Proc

If any, do you know which of these i can disable?
Thank you so much! :)
You can try disabling each one in turn. Right click and disable each item listed, then restart your computer to see if it eliminates your problem. If it does not fix the problem you can right click and enable it again.
To be able to give any reasonable answer, it more information about the computer is needed. At this point no relevant information is given, so it make it impossible to narrow the problem down.

The least amount of information - in order to even get an idea of what might be wrong (if any):
  • Model name and list of installed hardware.
  • What software is installed (i.e. is there two or more antivirus programs installed)
  • Is the problem new, or have it being like this since it was brand new?

Right click on your taskbar and select "Task Manager". Go to the "Startup" tab and see what is loading on Windows startup. Is there anything loading that you don't need to load every time you start Windows?
