My PC is so hot and loud, should I upgrade???

I honestly hate my PC right now, it performs so perfect in every game I play fps and graphics wise but the heat and sound it produces is insane. The loudest part of the PC are the fans on the GPU (Sapphire r9 270 OC) probably because the GPU is overheating at almost 90 degrees sometimes while it is almost touching the bottom of the case and blocked by cables that plug in right under the card on the motherboard. I am running the stock cooler for the fx 6300 which is so damn loud and the single case fan inside of my core 1000 case is loud and hardly is doing it's job... Oh, and I only have 1 fan connector on my crappy asus m5a78l motherboard. So my question is if I upgrade my PC buy getting a msi z87 motherboard, an i5 4690k with a cm 212 evo on top of it, inside of a fractal design define r4 or NZXT h440 would it be worth it? Would the case block out all of the noise produced by my graphics card and would my PC be much cooler? I can't stand the noise!!!!

Do you have a good case? You could always invest in a case with more fans and better airflow. Also look into water cooling.

I would invest in a case with better air flow and larger space. Based on your text you could be severly damaging your parts.

So a better case? I am looking at the fractal design define r4 right now. It looks like it has lots of space, good airflow, and is supposed to have really quite fans. Just one more question, it has 2 fans, does that mean I have to get a new motherboard since mine only has 1 3 pin fan connector? I just figured out that my OEM windows 8.1 would be gone forever if I was forced to swap out my motherboard so I really do NOT want to change that...

You dont have to buy another motherboard. I couldnt see on the picture of your board, but if it has a 4 pin fan connector, a 3 pin connector will plug into that or you can get an adapter to plug into a molex power connector.

The r4 is a great case, is very quiet and comes with a 3speed fan controller capable of upto 3 fans, which solves your header dilemma. Either buy an additional fan or scavenge one from your current case and use exhaust on cha_fan and 2x intakes from the fan controller. This will drop case temps considerably, as you'll now have airflow, vrs the heat circulation you currently enjoy. You could even opt to add a splitter to cha_fan and run 2x top exhaust, and 2x intake, which homestly is the better option than running a single rear.
