My pc is underperfoming

Hi guys,

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place but I've had this problem for a while now. When I first got my MSI ge72 apache I had no problems with it. I capped League Of Legends on 120fps while I could play another game in the background, use discord and listen to music with no problems. For quite a while now it hasn't been perfoming anywhere near that. I barely get 60fps on League and have to make sure everything else is turned off. If I try to listen to music while playing the music cracks. I can't play games like pubg without the screen freezing for a second when I switch weapons or am in the redzone for example (this is with all graphics turned down). I feel like this shouldn't be a problem with a pc this expensive definetly since it worked way better at first. I've checked and I'm on best performance for every game and I'm not on battery saver.

Yesterday I checked my perfomance and task manager while playing League and using discord.
Performance:
cpu: 13%
dgpu: 0%
memory: 70%
battery: 93%
disk: 0%

in task manager League was the only thing noteworthy with 5% cou and 960mb memory. the temperatures of my dgpu and cpu were 60 and 72 degrees celcius respectively.

Hello,

Could you download speccy and tell me your specs please:
http://filehippo.com/download_speccy/
What are your temps? idle and not idle.
Make sure your Ram is installed correctly (leave a space between them)

Make sure none of your cores are NOT parked:

Try going to the control panel > hardware and sound > power options > high performance.

Make sure you are not overclocking anything.

Im sure youve been told before..but please make sure all your drivers are up to date. Do you have an software that could interfere with gaming?
You should download a software so you can analyze component performance while gaming. MSI Afterburner is a good option!

I checked and updated them on windows and on geforce. I found out today that systemrequirementslab ranks my driver as a GTX 460. and says I can't run pubg with it. It also states my I7 5700hq is not good enough for the game while the minimum requirement is an I3 4340.

I downloaded afterburner but what should I look for?

Here's an artice on how to show in-game monitoring to show FPS, cpu usage, gpu usage, etc...
https://www.gameplayinside.com/optimize/how-to-check-your-frame-rate-and-gpu-usage-in-any-game/
While in game, try to take note of how your GPU and cpu usage are doing...

And here is your CPU compared to minimum requirements
http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-5700HQ-vs-Intel-Core-i3-4340/m30103vs2877

Also, if you could...download HWMonitor for me and send a screenshot of your PC's specs from there. This application should show you temperatures...usage...everything :)
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

From what you have said...your laptop should be 100% capable of running any game with a playable experience!
Honestly, i had a problem with me feeling like my PC was under par...all i did was Wipe my computer and started fresh...i dont expect you to do that but if nothing works that might be the last resort!

I was actually just thinking about doing that. Nothing important saved on this pc just a lot of time downloading everything again I guess. You know, I'm going to try that now. I'll be back tomorrow to tell you if it worked or not.

Good luck! hope it works for you as well!
Also just some advice...i WOULD try to keep the MSI afterburner in-game overlay on for whenever your gaming...helps give you a little more understanding how your Parts perform and other things :)

I can't even reset it... when I try it gives me this screen after I tap f3 when starting up

This is where im clueless...Windows Boot is probably the worst thing ever and it crashes all the time... Softwares not my thing haha.
See if this article will help!

If anything...call microsoft support about how to wipe your PC.
Sorry im no help on this one xD
