[SOLVED] My pc isn’t running like it used to

I’m having more difficulties getting good frame rate in newer games that uses to run well. Everything feels overall a bit slower as well. Could some hardware be malfunctioning? Also PC is louder than usual and lowering graphics in game makes little to no difference in performance.

Specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7-3770
System Model: Optiplex 9010
GPU: GTX 1650
Ram: 16gb

check cpu/gpu temp and usage during the game?
how full is the ssd?
malware scan the system?

Make sure the CPU's heatsink is free of dust and lint. Use some compressed air to clean it. If it's dirty the cpu will start to throttle and thus fan will rotate faster and games will stutter.

the temperatures are fine even when gaming.
Windows security didn’t show any problems and the ssd still has about half of it’s storage left
