Three days ago my pc randomly froze and the only way to fix it was to turn it on and off on the case start button. Then yesterday I left my pc for an hour and when I came back I had a blue screen with a stopcode of: POOL_CORRUPTION_IN_FILE_AREA. I have no idea what is causing this nor how to fix it

Things to note: I recently upgraded my GPU to a rtx 2060 (was 1060)

I haven't been able to restart my pc for about 2 months. (Turning on and off works fine)

My disc randomly goes to 100% in the task manager

My specs
rtx 2060
ryzen 1700x
asus motherboard (cant rememeber)
16gb ram
550 watt PSU

The problem likely related to the driver(s).

If you didn't use the DDU, during the GPU upgraded, and installed the driver. You should use the DDU to uninstall the GPU driver first, then reinstall the GPU driver again.
DDU https://www.guru3d.com/files_details/display_driver_uninstaller_download.html

Also update the AMD chipset driver too https://www.amd.com/en/support

And all the windows update too, last thing, check the MB to see it has the newer BIOS or not. If it does not, may consider to update the BIOS. But keep in mind, if you don't do it right, you will brick the MB.
