Hello there so i have had this system for like 6 months now and i just keep playing cs:go never had any problem...Recently it started shutting down randomly for like 2hours in csgo i started getting confused i turn it back on and after 30mins again in cs it turns off again i have been searching on forums found maybe something simular sooo could it be that my GPU is too powerful for my PSU
and that my psu is shutting down because its going over power limit or something
specs:
amd x4 620
8gb ddr3
gts 450 (1x6pin)
400w cooler master i think (it not a no-name brand)

if its my gpu im buying a 750ti in like 2 days so im okay but if its my psu im not sure what to do about it :)

Most common causes are overheating and power issues.

Monitor your temps to check for overheating.

Cooler Master maybe a name brand but many of their power supplies(especially the budget models) are cheap garbage and not any better than the cheap generics. Whats the model of the PSU?

im not really sure what my psu model actually is but can tell by tomorrow im not currently home but yeah it actually could be my psu? im not 100% sure if its coolermaster but when my friend brought it to my house it was not a no name brand it was really heavy and had good cables and Removed so yeah im not really sure im gonna check asap AND COULD PLACING A LESS POWER CONSUMING GPU FIX IT??
