Question My PC keeps starting up then crashing

My PC keeps starting up and i log into the computer and sooner or later the monitors display turns itself off but the pc is still running.

The problem is not to do with the monitor or the cables. i believe it is to do with the cpu overheating.

here are my specs:
Aorus b450 elite
amd ryzen 5 2600
nvidia gtx 980 ti
16gb 3600mhz ram
500gb pcie m.2 ssd
600w power supply

please can you let me know how i can sort this out and if i need to buy another part let me know

Which cpu cooler are you using?

If its the one that came with the CPU, did you remove the plastic that was coving the grey thermal compound before installing it?

i am using the cpu cooler that came with the cpu. i believe i did remove the plastic, if not where would the plastic be so i can check.

My psu is pure power 11 be quiet 80 plus gold 600w
