My pc lagging when opening games

So ive been having this problem, when i launch my game (cs:go) my whole pc starts lagging. And its unplayable to play at 20 fps. but when i close it and wait around 10 minutes everything fixes itself and my pc is back to normal. but when i lauch the game again it will start lagging.

1600mhz 8gb

Sounds like an IO issue. Do a memtest on your ram and check for bad sectors on that ssd.

Oh and unplug any other IO devices like card readers or dvd drives and usb drives and see if that helps. I had a problem where windows would randomly take 10 minutes to boot because my dvd drive was failing. Windows just kept trying to initialize it and would hang up big time due to the IO.
