[SOLVED] My PC lags in the middle of games randomly. It will be running smooth for 5 seconds and then suddenly it lags and then it keeps on repeating.

As you can see in the image the fan for both CPU and GPU are n/a. Any Ideas what the issue might be. I can still hear the fans running but all my games are lagging which led me to investigate the problem and that is how i landed that my fans are not detected.
I Have a NVIDIA GeForce 1060 GTX Graphic card, DELL G7, i7 Processor
Its a laptop, so no i did not add the fan myself.
During games i can hear fan running but i dont know if it is my CPU's fan or my GPU's fan
but my games all lag randomly, thats why you might see that CS:GO is below 30fps about 25% of the time.
My laptop is more than capable of running CS GO or similar games.

Probably a thermal throttling issue, your cpu temperatures might also alter your gpu clock speeds causing both to fluctuate in speed, as you can see your CPU hits 90c+ on all cores in "max temperatures cpu cores hwmonitor/hwinfo"

You can either try 1. switch thermal paste (needs disassemblying) 2. get laptop cooling pad ( cant guarantee much of change depends on laptop case too) or do below:

Do the things i say in that post, you can tweak the undervolt more or less but 0.125mv is atleast stable. Turbo multiplier can affect your performance, so you can also try higher than 32 or 33. This is all tweakable, first test that you gain performance with these settings.

Thanks a lot for your answer. It seems detailed enough. I will try with disassembling my pc and switching the thermal paste, but if that doesnt work then i will work through your post on throttlestop.

I would actually first try to undervolt and see how that works out since there is no risk involved. If that wont give enough temperature drop then buy Thermal Grizzly kryonaut (non conductive) and change thermal paste. Clean heatsinks and all dust well from the fan while at it.
