Question My PC [Laptop] won't allow me to add any custom resolution

I have an Acer Predator Helios 300
I have a GTX 1060 6gb
And my monitor is a Dell S2419HGF (1920 x 1080 144hz)

I wiped my PC and got a fresh installation a couple weeks ago and wanted to use custom resolutions on a game that I had before on this computer.
(NOTE: my laptop screen is cracked and I don't know if that affects this or not.)

I had tried to put multiple resolutions in and got the following error.

{Test failed.

Custom resolution (resolution and hz) (32bit) is not supported by your display.}

The resolutions I tried to input are: 1904 x 1071, 1780 x 1080, 1758 x 1080, 1750 x 1080, 1656 x 1080 (all at 144hz).


Any ideas?

I just got 1904 x 1071 144hz as a custom resolution but I don't know how :/

Yes, I have tried 120hz and 60hz.

Before you attempt to use the custom resolution tab, there is a tab that will show any hidden resolutions the monitor may accept. Does it show anything when you click on that tab?

Try switching over to intel graphics and see if it will let you change resolutions. What model is your 300 helios? PH317-53--etc?

Just did, no difference.
