my pc needs 2 times to press the button to power on

hello guys
i have a problem with my pc.
when i press the power button to turn the pc on everything in the pc starts fine( fans,drives etc) but nothing apears on the display! and when i push the reset button then the pc turns on fine!

can you pleas tell me the reason of this?

Do you have your pc in sleep mode otherwise I would say you may have the reset and power button hooked up wrong.. But how could that be if it powers up with the power button.

no i never put my pc in sleep mode. i don't think the buttons are hooked up wrong because the reset button works fine i will check the power button maybe it is the problem .

i replaced the cables again and now it turns on fine. i will check it until tomorow and i will answer again.!
