my pc not properly shutdown

i have pc running windows 8.1..my problem is when i click shutdown button, its actually not fully shutdown..because when my pc shutdown, its start up again when i press any button on keyboard..its not actually shutdown but same as sleep mode..how can i fix this..tq

Hi. Go to control panel and click power options. Click change plan settings and then advanced settings.go through each option selecting what you want your PC to do. Example ' Power buttons and lid actions---When I press the power button...turn off computer'
